Hi,
The 4th of July was exciting. We started out with camping on the night of the 3rd with the Guymon's. It only took 2 hours for Deeann (Tyler was at a softball game) and us to get our tents set up. Deeann brought all the food and it was great. Breakfast was our favorite because I like to cook on a grill over the fire. Ralph has learned to make just the right temperature of fire and the food was great, pancakes, hashbrowns, eggs, and sausage.
We packed up camp and went on a hike to Donut Falls, along with lots of other hikers. It was a nice little hike. Carrying two little boys was a bit back breaking, so we needed it to be a short hike.
The night of the 4th, we went to a Bees Baseball game. After we got all sat down, Deeann looked at the tickets and found out they were for the July 24, not July 4. Oh well, no one asked for our seats and we saw a great game.
Tonight was the SLC Jazz Festival. We went for a couple of hours. It was some good music, but really hot. There are some really talented people in this music world. One piano player could make up a song on the spot with any four notes you gave him. He numbered the notes to 10, then you gave him a 4 number sequence, like your phone number, and he would make up a piece with that tune just like that.
