Last week versus this week. We like to put straw on the garden to help the dirt.

Hi,

Yesterday was a beautiful day. Last Saturday snow, yesterday was perfect. We mowed the lawn, did the weedwacker trimming around the edges and worked in the garden for4 - 5 hours getting the yard ready for winter and fixing some of the bricks around the patio.
Ralph loves to grow pumpkins for jack-o-lanterns. It looks like we'll have a lot of fun with these.
This box of carrots will last us all winter. It only took Ralph an hour to clean them. Now they're all in the fridge.
We survived the last two weeks watching Joshua, the 4 month old baby I've been watching. I got to watch him today and he slept during Primary when I was leading the music for sharing time. I call that a blessing. I was substituting today and even got the sunbeams to participate in the music. I have a hard time insisting the children sing because when I was in Primary I refused to cooperate and sing for the chorister. Maybe this is my method of repentance.

I can't remember the last time I had to buy a pumpkin. I'm going to miss picking one from your garden.
Good Ol' Utah weather!
