October 2, 2008

Hi,
My life is sort of mundane and busy at the same time. I've been helping a co-worker/friend that is from Nigeria. I've helped her learn to drive from her home to work and back. I've helped her with her phone bill and have got her $20 back for one of the bills. She is signed up to attend night school for the next three weeks, so I'm watching her little boy, Joshua.
He's going to be so spoiled while he is here.

Since February I've had a sore wrist. I've tried physical therapy on my own, but it still hurts so much. Last Monday I got a steroid shot and it has taken the sharp pain away. I'm going for more testing in a couple of weeks.

I've picked lots of tomatoes and cukes from our garden. I bottled some, but we've just eaten them and shared them with neighbors.

Last week for Home Evening we put a lot of supplies together for our survival kit. We had a list and found that we had lots of the items in our home. We'll add a few more things. One never knows when we might need to use it. I hope never.

There are a couple of checklists on sugardoodle you might want to compare to your checklist. Go to sugardoodle, old file box, E, Emergency Prepardness, scroll down to 72 hr kit checklist.
