Yesterday I used some gift certificates that I had and bought a really cool picture of all the Latter-day prophets. I can't wait to get it framed. I thought I had a big enough frame at home, but I don't, so I'll buy one when we get back from Europe.
We're leaving tomorrow for Vienna, Nurnberg, Bern, and Paris. My bags are packed. Sherry Ann reminded me to pack my recommend, I don't think they'd call my Bishop from Switzerland. I don't know how to pack for such a long time and distance. We're going to pack a duffle bag for our clothes so we can pack the stuff we buy in our suitcase and have someplace to put our clothes.
Last Thursday we went to Kristofer's orchestra concert. He's doing really great on the viola.
Saturday I swam laps at the gym for 20 minutes. That was a great workout. I'm going to do that every week.
Last week I fasted and prayed that Gloria would get a job. Monday, she got one with a temporary company. I was so excited. Friday they called and cancelled the job. That is really discouraging. Her car is getting repaired after her accident and her husband has left her. She doesn't have $500 to get the car fixed and no transportation. I hope she gets things worked out while I'm gone.
