June 29, 2009

June 23 I left Salt Lake and came to stay with Gary's family. My assignment was to play with Carter and keep him entertained for a week so he could get to know his grandma Baer. It was a great assignment. He is a lot of fun to play with.
I brought Carter a squirter and I had one so we could play. He loved it. Look at the firewood. You can only see maybe half of what Gary has from the fallen trees of his and neighbors.

We went to Paducah to see a train museum. It was closed. Carter thought it was great to visit this parked train. He was afraid to touch it.
Gary hit the ball and got a great hit. This was his men's team. The bugs eat you like crazy here. On a different day I got to substitute for a late player for 5 innings and even got a good base hit.

What do you think, very large person sat down, or fallen tree from the big wind storm?

Jennie designed and made these nice towels for me.

I took a picture of Carter and me so he could remember who I am when I leave.

Way cute boy.

Happy Birthday Jennie. 33 years old today. She was really excited to open her presents.

Carter got to play on his slip and slide. He loved the water until he got too cold.

This is Jennie's favorite pose. She was searching for a new camera for her birthday gift.

That's my boy!

Right when I arrived from St. Louis this is what we found. A tree limb that had broken during the wind storm fell to the ground while Jennie was gone to pick me up. Nice welcome.

Gary, Carter & I went water skiing twice. Twice I forgot to take the camera. The water was really warm and skiing was fun.
