(Hogwart's castle or something like that)
A few weeks ago, I helped in a presentation for ways to start food storage and being more prepared for emergencies. I've had food storage since we were first married and can't imagine not having my shelves full of food.
Last week was a bit fun. Tuesday night Ralph played a 9:30 ball game with Deeann and Tyler while I watched the boys. We got home after 11:00 p.m. and had to be back up at 4:20 a.m. so Ralph could be at the airport Wednesday morning by 4:50 a.m. He flew to Minneapolis for a work seminar. It was more fun than work. He returned Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
With Ralph gone, it was time for me to party. I donated blood and when the Phlebotomist stuck the needle in, blood squirted all over me. I've donated gallons of blood and that has never happened before. The next night I went to Ogden to eat dinner with Susan & Chris and pick Kristofer up to come to my house. Friday night I had a neighborhood dinner at my house with three other couples coming, it's really a nice way to get to know other people in a different setting than church. Saturday, Kristofer & I went to the gym and played raquetball and went swimming. Later we went to a movie and then picked Ralph up at the airport - 30 minutes late, poor Ralph.
October 6th I had inventory scheduled at my work. Since I'm in charge of inventory, I was able to get my boss to rescheduled it for Friday. That meant I could watch Conference. Ralph & I attended the afternoon session at the Conference center. Then he, Tyler and his dad went to the Conference Center for the Priesthood session. Deeann & the boys and I went to Deseret Book for the free prize, but we got there too late, Deeann did win a prize from the drawing. That night they had a sleepover so we could enjoy conference together.
Kimball was baptized & confirmed on October 20th by Jeff and then Spencer was given a name and a blessing by Jeff. It was great to see the Priesthood at work. I was privileged to give a talk on Baptism at the meeting.

Sherry Ann's family came up for the baptism and they've had so much fun taking Razor (the dog) for walks and playing in the snow. It's been great to have so many family in our home the past few weeks.
