Gary, Jennie and Carter visited us from Southern Illinois for the last week in October, so Ralph and I took a week off work and spent our vacation with their family. We went bowling, to Cornbelly's, trick or treating, the Children's Museum and visited a chocolate factory. They gave out free samples and I got some tips for making better chocolates.

Ralph always plants pumpkins so we can have our annual pumpkin carving night.

We enjoyed our week vacation and a whole month of having our children at our house sometime during the month.

Yesterday, we went to the World Speed Skating Event. We got to see a new World's Record in the Men's 5,000 meter. We took Jacob and Andrew with us while Deeann & Tyler enjoyed some time off from little ones.
