Right now, I'm in Marion, Illinois. Ralph & I went to Nashville on Friday. Gary picked us up at the airport and we toured around Nashville for awhile.
We got out of the car in downtown Nashville, Ralph saw a store that sells hats and he bought one. We saw a place called the Parthenon which is
built like the one in
Greece. 
They built it for a 
"World's Fair" type event in the early 1900's. The other buildings that they built for the fair were torn down. We saw a Plantation which was very sad to look at considering
how the slaves lived. We saw a fort that the Union built after they overtook Nashville and used it to maintain and supply the Union armies. Then we went to the Grand Ole Opry.
We saw 12 different artists at the Opry. The only one I really knew was "Lonestar".
Saturday, we saw a few things and went to a Nascar Race. Ralph was so excited about that, but when it was time to go, it started to rain. Frustrating! After a couple of hours, it stopped and races were on. We watched the end of a 100 lap race, and watched 164 laps of a 200 lap race when it began to pour. We saw some top drivers, winner of the Indy 500, Danika Patrick, and other top racers. Ralph totally enjoyed it and the rest of us had a good time.
